Contessa accepts personal checks as well as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.

3) When will I receive my one-of-a-kind Contessa Bag?

Normal turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. We offer a rush fee of $50 to have your order to you in 3 weeks.

5) What size photo do I need to send?

We accept all shapes of photographs, no larger than an 8x10.

6) Will my photograph be returned?

Yes! Your photograph will be returned with your completed bag. Please label your photograph with your name and phone number. Be sure not to write directly on the photograph so it does not imprint. Please do not send negatives, originals or irreplaceable photos. We want you to use your favorite image or memories but cannot be responsible for lost or damaged photos. Send us a copy!

7) What kind of printing process do you use?

We print directly onto the fabric using the highest quality inks available. Your image is permanently bonded to the fabric and will not fade or come off. We do not use “iron on” transfers. That process is unstable and will wear off over time.

8) What is the best way to care for my new Contessa Bag?

Scotchguarding your bag when you first receive it is the best way to keep your bag looking new. If your bag does get dirty, we recommend that you use baby wipes or mild soap and water to spot clean your bag. A trip to the professional dry cleaners has been useful in some cases.

9) Refunds?

Due to the personalization of our product, refunds are not available. All sales are final.

10) Can Contessa make any changes to my photograph?

Yes, we can make adjustments to your photograph. We call it Additional Graphics. For example we can eliminate red eyes, erase wrinkling in an older photograph, or add a different background for an additional graphics charge of $25. Write a detailed description of the changes you would like made to your picture and include it with your order form or in the special instructions box provided on the online order form. The image on the bag will be exactly like the photo sent if no additional corrections or backgrounds are requested. However, some cropping of your photo may occur in order to fit image properly on the handbag. We reserve the right to crop your image.

11) Can I put two different photos on my bag?

Yes, you can add another photo on each side as long as the photos correspond in shape (i.e. horizontal or vertical image) not size. There is an additional $25 dollar printing charge for using two different photographs.

12) Are Gift Certificates available?

Yes, Contessa makeup and handbags make great gifts! A gift certificate is a great solution especially if the birthday, anniversary, new baby, bar and bat mitzvah or bridal party is next week. A Contessa handbag is the perfect solution for any special occasion.

13) If I order multiple bags do I have to send you more than one picture?

Only if you are using different images for each one. If you are replicating the same bag or image more than once, we only need one photograph.

14) Do you ship outside of the United States?

Yes! Our international customers are very important to us! We ship frequently to the UK and Canada. Contact us and we can give you an exact quote for shipping.
